Enough is Enough

When is enough enough? It seems that in todays world problems are only addressed at the last possible moment. Why is that we allow so much, often irreversible, damage to be done before attempting to find a solution?
I don’t believe that we are really that lazy, but rather that people are willing to overlook and let others worry about it until it becomes ”their problem”. We are all selfish, as is human nature, but it is something we must learn to overcome if the world’s major problems are going to be fixed.
Stop the little issues before they have time to become big problems.
Procrastination will not make anything easier.
It is so much easier to put out a candle than a raging forest fire.

I like what you said about people acting only when it is their problem. For instance, I imagine that in the near future we will see a lot more people concerned with the environment when food and oil prices soar higher and clean water and air is unavailable.
