A Lasting Impression

GC Crew here!
Today we got together to work on our Reach Lesotho Poster Project. When we went to staples to get some pictures printed, we met a really really nice person named Elise. She made a lasting impression on us, something that we hope to make aswell on other people. She really made our day and we couldn’t stop talking about her on the way back to Claire’s house. We told Elise about our project and she seemed genuinly interested. We told her to visit the website and read our blogs. If you’re reading this Elise, a round of applause for you!! =) The kind of impression she made on us is the type of thing that really brightens peoples day. It is really special when you connect with someone in that way.
We also put alot of work into the poster. We had alot of really good ideas, and a lot of really bad ideas. We laughed at the bad, and were sooo excited about the good ones, we could hardly control ourselves. All in all, and awesome day!! GCers out!!

GCers…the power of one is so neat. Imagine if your experience went poorly..turned you off for the day..did not want to go and work…what would your project look like ? Maybe the same..maybe not.. We have the power each and everyday and the fact that you recognized Elise publicly is the first step in the positive exchange that is paying it forward.

That’s fantastic! The same thing recently happened to me actually. I met an Australian while I was on vacation in Croatia who mentioned that she was moving to Africa for two years. I told her about my Reach Lesotho experience and she and the rest of the tour group we were with (all ironically from Quebec) said that they would happily check out the web-site. It’s so great that perfect strangers are interested in our work!
