I am a sixteen-year-old student in grade ten at Centennial C.V.I. I was born in Kitchener, but I have lived in Guelph for ten years. During these ten years, I have gotten involved with the many opportunities that Guelph has to offer. I was a member of Guelph Youth Singers (GYS) for six years, and with GYS I toured across Canada and the States. I have played on a competitive volleyball team for two years and my love for the sport continues to grow. I am a huge bookworm, and I believe that anything is possible if you set your mind to it. I love science because of the challenges it presents. I love to run, I love bananas and I love working with children. I am Natalie Sloof. |

As many of you probably know, the Reach Lesotho team ran a half marathon this weekend. Leading up to the race, I was apprehensive about the distance and the fundraising goal. 21 km. $1000. Could I do it? I took a stab at training, but found that my asthma was not going to cooperate that easily. Keep reading…
