I am a sixteen-year-old student in grade ten at Centennial C.V.I. I was born in Kitchener, but I have lived in Guelph for ten years. During these ten years, I have gotten involved with the many opportunities that Guelph has to offer. I was a member of Guelph Youth Singers (GYS) for six years, and with GYS I toured across Canada and the States. I have played on a competitive volleyball team for two years and my love for the sport continues to grow. I am a huge bookworm, and I believe that anything is possible if you set your mind to it. I love science because of the challenges it presents. I love to run, I love bananas and I love working with children. I am Natalie Sloof. |

Its not as though the coursework has been overly demanding or stressful, but its always good to get some time to refresh, recharge and get ready for the new school year. (Keep reading..)

“Sometimes, I wonder what it would take for the world to unite as one. I recently had this discussion with my history teacher, who proclaimed quite seriously that he thought it would take an alien invasion. So, while we wait for the aliens to drop in, I think we should all strive to think of ourselves not as Canadians, or Kenyans, or Russians, but as people of the world.” (Full article)
