I was born in Guelph, Ontario; the youngest of five children. My family goes camping, hiking and kayaking in Algonquin Park every summer. This has shown me the power and peacefulness of nature. I went through a life changing experience when I was eight years old. This experience taught me more about love, kindness and compassion. I learned it's okay to hurt and to learn from experiences. I grew up maybe a little too quick, but I am grateful today for that experience. I love music and have a very spiritual outlook on life. Giving what I can to help those in need helps me. I have worked at a small diner for three years and truly enjoy it. I am so grateful for the opportunity Reach Lesotho has given me. Working with the Reach Lesotho family is a dream come true and I know it’s the path my life was meant to follow. |

On May 29th, 2010, the annual Red Ribbon Gala was held at the Delta Hotel. Our team gathered to support this evening of raising funds and awareness to battle HIV/AIDS. David Scott and Victoria Lockyer performed for the audience two songs, both written in response to reading Dr. Anne-Marie Zadjlik’s emails. The RL team passed around the cameras, we hope you enjoy the pictures! (Click here to see pictures…)
